How to get to the Isle of Harris

Getting here is part of the adventure….

The Isle of Harris is famous for it`s rugged landscape and beautiful golden beaches. It’s mountains and beaches offer peace and tranquillity in a location steeped in history.

We are located close to the Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry Terminal in Tarbert. During the summer, a ferry runs from Uig on the Isle of Skye to Tarbert, the main village on Harris, twice a day except on Sundays. There are fewer sailings in winter. It takes 1 hour 35 minutes to cross the Minch. Vehicle reservation required. Look out for dolphins.
